DOES ANYONE KNOW ON A HOLY 2 BARREL WHERE THE POWER VALVE IS LOCATED AND HOW TO CHANGE IT. I HAVE A CARB THAT BOGS OUT DOWN THE STRAIGHT AWAY AND WAS TOLD IT WAS THE POWER VALVE

Hey keith, the power valve is in the metering plate. You have to remove the float bowl to get to it, it is about an inch round right in the center of the metering block it just screws out. But i would say it is not the problem, if it was blown the carb would be overly rich at lower RPM but run fine on top end. It could be stuck if its in really bad condition and it would make it lean. Sounds to me like you have a fuel starvation problem, check your float level, fuel pressure, filter, line size, then pull the carb apart and see what the inside looks like and blow it all out good.

FOUND PROBLEM WAS FLOAT STICKING IN UP POSITION
YOU WERE RIGHT ON THE MONEY FOR MY PROBLEM
