why is brushcreek(tom) charging more money to get in this year than last.......granted he has a monster truck coming....woah......but with the dropped bomber class and latemodels decling everyweek......i beleive 2005 we all will be heading to other tracks......i see bcms closing down very fast.......alot of ppl dont want to run there and tear up their equipment for 1300 bucks.....heck there was alot of local/not that didnt even come to race here with the macs......barry doss went to bcs......casebolt wont come and hardly any body from local/surrounding counties venture to bcms....its sad but honestly thruth....i was once a big fan of toms trk but in recent year/sucky shows im leaning more towards of traveling to see the "big" boys........i also believe if he would drop the stupid harley and put the cash up...some "big time" names will come......we/i all know that tom gets those harleys @ discount/promotion deal...and yet he was a racer and once thought"you go where the money is"........im living by that philsophy myself now......
btw...this is nothing personal......its just sad to see a fast, great track get washed out........these are my opinions and are merly what i feel.......2 cents really....

I made my first trip to Brushcreek last weekend for the MACS show. I thought they put on a decent program that went along pretty smoothly without much un-necessary down time. The concession stand was decent, the lighting was OK, the seating was really good and the sound system was good. The parking lot was pretty bad with the great big rocks in the road. The track was extremely fast, in fact, I believe too fast for it's competitors. A question to the guys that race down there, Is it hard to see the caution lights at speed? It just seemed to me that when every caution came out one of the guys wouldn't see that the yellow light was on and almost run in to the back of somebody. Which this would be a bad problem to have at any track but an especially bad problem to have at a place where they are goin' so fast. If they race long enough somebody is gonna get killed there and that is pretty well plain and simple. These are just opinions, hope I didn't come off soundin' too awfull bad about the place, I just wouldn't haul my car down there(if we were racin) this year, and I advised a Late Model friend of mine to not try BCS out. Now as a fan, it was a pretty good experience, and I will probably come back for the American Heritage race. The track just has problems and I don't know how to fix them.

1. i agree with the $$ problem. As a chevette racer. The Chevette numbers are always have a high count. The 1st week i think there was 16. The chevette pay is no where near what other tracks pay.Sorry but it is true. thats just my nickel worth.I like the guys i race there. but i may have to go where the $$ is. 2 the caution lights dont seem to be a problem for me but thats just me.
