Brushcreek Motorsports Complex Set to Wrap Up 07' Season on Saturday October 6
(Peebles, Ohio) Brushcreek Motorsports Complex is set to close the 07' season with the season finale on Saturday, October 6 with regular race program of late models, modifieds, bombers, chevette/4cylinders, trophy 4 cylinders, and legends. Also slated to be on the card with the regular classes will be a ministers race, an enduro and a 4 wheeler race.
In the late model class Bethel Ohio's Joel Ortberg leads the season points standings. Ortberg looks to secure his first track championship. Marty Huntley (3), Clint Jamison, Dan Hurt, Arnie Fields, Ben Adkins, Spensor Watson, Rick Combs, Jerry Bowersock (2), Weasel Rhodes, and Mark Morrison have taken late model feature wins this season on the 1/3 mile speed plant.
In the modified class Peebles, Ohio's Dave Jamison looks to secure his first track championship. Jamison currently holds a slight lead over two time modified track champion Mike Gross. Modified feature winners this season include Rick Walker, Mike Gross (2), Dave Jamison (2), David McWilliams, Kenny Johnson, Jeff Harris, Jerry Bowersock, Dave Hess Jr., Steve Arpin, Weasel Rhodes (2), and Clint Jamison
In the seasons closest points race, Manchester, Ohio's Matt Edmisten currently holds a slim one point lead over Peebles, Ohio's Roy York in the Bomber class. Carl Warren, Mark Keatzel (2), Jim Helterbran (2), Roy York, Matt Edmisten, (2) Brandon Thompson, Jeremie Bretz, and John Powell Jr. have taken bomber feature wins during the 07' season.
Peebles, Ohio's Tom Partin currently holds a large lead in the chevette/4cylinder season point standings. Tom Partin, Tommy Edmisten, Taylor Grooms (4), Rusty Yarger (2), Darrell Lunsford (2), Eric Dearing, Mike Strickland (2), and Mitchell Fields have taken chevette/4 cylinder feature wins during the 07' season.
Peebles, Ohio's Matt Nichols holds a large point lead in the trophy 4 cylinder while Tom Partin holds a large lead in the Legend point standings.
Thus far Matt Nichols, Rusty Hawes, Jeff Cutler, Kevin McKenzie, Eric Taylor have claimed enduro wins during 07' season.
