The running order now was Smart, Edmisten, Huntley, Kevin Schoonover, and Bill Blair Jr. rounding out the top five. Slowed by lapped traffic, Huntley's lead would slowly diminish. With second running Edmisten closing, Huntley would take it three wide splitting two slower cars on lap seventeen and begin to pull away again. Huntley cruised to his second feature win of the season. Following Huntley and Edmisten across the line was Terry Smart, Kevin Schoonover and Darran Kattine rounding out the top five.

At the drop of the green Jamison jumped out to the lead over Darrin Dryden and Mike Gross. Jamison had pulled to an eight car length lead when the caution waved for Dave Kirker, who lost a drive shaft on lap seven. On the restart, Jamison would begin to pull away once again, but the field would be slowed for a caution when Aaron Dunham and Joel Buttelwerth got together in turn four. The field would quickly be slowed when Greg Truster and Davey Warnock got together on the restart. Truster would be charged with the caution and sent to the tail. On the restart, Jamison once again began to pull away leaving Mike Gross and Darren Dryden to battle it out for second.
