Wheelersburg, Ohio's Delmas Conley and West Portsmouth, Ohio's Doug Adkins led the "OK Auto Parts 30" field to the green. Conley jumped out to the early lead over Keith Barbra, Jackie Boggs, and Doug Adkins. The action was quickly slowed on lap two, when Mark Morrison slowed with mechanical problems. On the restart, Conley would jump out to the lead over Barbra, Adkins, Jackie Boggs, and Marty Huntley. The action was quickly slowed before the lap was complete, when Paul Moore spun on the back stretch. The second attempt at the restart would quickly be slowed when Jason Montgomery rolled to a stop in turn one bringing out the third caution.
On the restart, Barbra shot to the inside of Conley and the two would battle side by side until Barbra was able to gain the advantage coming through turn three. Now in front Barbra would set a torrid pace as Conley and Adkins battled for second. Conley and Adkins would make contact several times as Adkins tried to wrestle second from Conley. Adkins rolled to a stop on lap five with a flat tire, bringing out the fourth caution.
On the restart, Keith Barbra pulled away as Jackie Boggs began to battle Conley for second. After a short side by side battle, Boggs was able to slide by Conley and claim second place. The fifth caution waved on lap six when Greg Oliver slowed with mechanical problems. While under caution, fifth running Marty Huntley would go pit side with an over heating problem and Brad Graves also would take his car pit side.
On the restart, Barbra pulled away from Boggs, Rick Combs, Delmas Conley, and Scott Edmisten. Now in a long green flag run Barbra would set a torrid pace. Working lapped traffic to perfection he would build up a huge lead over second place Boggs. However, on lap eighteen leader Barbra would encounter a slow car that slid up the track in front of him, allowing Boggs to cut into the sizable lead he had built. Once Barbra disposed of the slow car, the front runner once again began to build on his lead.
The sixth caution waved on lap twenty-six when Arnie Fields slowed on the back stretch with mechanical problems and third running Rick Combs rolled to a stop in turn one with mechanical problems. On the restart, Barbara pulled to a five car length lead over Jackie Boggs. Pushing his car to the limits Boggs would close up to about three car lengths from front runner Barbra. However, Boggs would bring out the seventh caution when he suffered a flat tire causing him to spin coming out of turn four on lap twenty-nine. On the restart, Barbra pulled to about an eight car length lead over Delmas Conley. Barbra held on to claim the $3,000 OK Auto Parts Night Before the Heritage feature win. Following Barbra across the line was Delmas Conley, Jackie Boggs, Bill Williams, and Brian Day rounding out the top five.
West Portsmouth, Ohio's Doug Adkins and Waverly Ohio's Aaron Higgins brought the modified feature field to the green. Adkins jumped out to the early lead followed by Higgins, David McWilliams, and Darrin Dryden. In the early going Adkins stretched his lead as Higgins, Dryden and McWilliams battled for second. McWilliams would take his Pierce modified pitside on lap four with mechanical problems. Meanwhile, front runner Adkins continued to stretch his lead and would cruise to the victory.
