Brushcreek Motorsports Ready to Roar Back to Life
(PEEBLES, OHIO)- After enduring a cold wet off season Brushcreek Motorsports Complex will roar back to life on Saturday Saturday, April 18 with opening night featuring Late Models, Modifieds, Legends, Crazy Compacts. No Go Karts this week. Gate open at 5 p.m., drivers meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Brushcreek Motorsports will continue to use a mandatory system of one-way scanner communication, providing lineups, instruction, and race direction from the race director to the drivers for all weekly classes (Late Models, Modifieds, Legends, Bombers, & Crazy Compacts) in 2009.
It is the responsibility of each race team to make sure that scanners are mounted in the car safely and are in good operational order. Scanners must be activated and in use during all events, including preliminary events, and warm-ups.
Scanners must be programmed to the dedicated race frequency only. The dedicated race frequency will be announced at the drivers meeting and posted on the pit board. Competitors will be able to buy or rent RACEceiver at the track.
Also returning for the 2009 season is the Fantasy Racing Challenge, a promotion based on the results of driver performances in feature events at Brushcreek Motorsports Complex during 2009. Before each race, you select a driver for each class (Late Models, Modifieds, Legends, & Bombers) represented in the Fantasy Racing League. Points are earned based on feature finishing position of each driver on your team.
The team owner that accumulates the most points over the coarse of the 2009 season will win two 2010 Brushcreek Motorsports season passes. No purchase is necessary, playing the Brushcreek Motorsports Fantasy Racing Challenge is free.

Brushcreek Motorsports will also use AMB transponders in the Late Model, Modified, Legend, and Bomber classes in 2009. Every car in competition in these classes must be equipped with an AMB scoring and timing transponder.
Competitors may order direct wired transponder now through Brushcreek for $310, or will be able to rent Brushcreek's AMB transponders for $15 each race night. Competitors will be responsible for mounting them on their cars.
Opening night is set for Saturday, April 18. Some of the highlights of the 2009 schedule include, "Armed Forces Night," Saturday, May 16; "Family Night," Saturday, May 23; "Kids Night," Saturday, June 6; "Faster Pastor/Tommy Cooper Memorial," Saturday, June 20; "Fire Storm," Friday, July 3; "Heritage Classic Weekend," Friday, July 31 and Saturday, August 1; "Fan Appreciation Night," Saturday, August 22; "Bomber Nationals," Saturday September 12; and Billy Bob Race weekend October 2-3. Brushcreek Motorsports track chaplain Tim Adams and Jesus Motorsports Outreach will be hosting a Cruise in for Cancer car show at OK Auto Parts In Peebles Ohio on Saturday May 2 from 10:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. OK Auto Parts is located at 123 North Main Street in Peebles.
All race cars and show cars are welcome at the display only show. No awards will be presented. Everyone coming out to the Cruise in for Cancer car show not only will have a chance to see the cars up close and support a good cause, but also will be able to enjoy a free hot dog, chips and pop. Door prizes will also be given away. All donations will go to Hospice of Hope.
