Willard Speedway Will be Racing April 15
M.O.D. show for April 14-15 canceled
WILLARD – The Monsters of Destruction show scheduled for April 14-15 at Willard Speedway has been canceled. Milestone Motorsports Inc., owner of the M.O.D. series, has not yet provided an official explanation for the canceled date. Said Series Director Jason Kczmar: "We just aren’t going to be able to do the show."
It is presumed details will be provided in the upcoming week.
Willard Speedway officials, however, aren’t going to let the canceled Monster Trucks event damper race spirits of racing fans from throughout the Tri-State Area and beyond. Willard Speedway will host racing Saturday night, April 15 with races scheduled in all classes: Late Models – sponsored by Outlaw Race Cars of Louisa, Ky.; AMRA Modifieds – sponsored by The Bluegrass Preservation Society; Crate Racin’ USA Late Models – sponsored by Stormpay.com; Poske‘s Performance Pure Stocks (Bombers); Draughn Racing Supply Mini Mods and Sunoco Fuel Mini Stocks
“We invite everyone to come on out for a great night of racing Saturday, April 15,” said Race Director Rocky Estep. “We will have an Easter Egg Hunt in the infield for the kids. Jenzo, Lucy, and Ric the clown from Racers In Christ will be also there. Who will find the Lucky Egg?...We will also be drawing for a vacation weekend from Jerico Bed & Breakfast of Marlinton, W.Va. The concession stand will be open with some great food. Making a return to the menu will be the ever popular funnel cake – Oh yeah babe – that’s good lovin’ right there. So come on out and bring the family! You’re gonna have a good time, we guarantee it.”
