Brushcreek Motorsports Complex to Host World of Outlaws Late Model Series

[Peebles, Ohio] The World of Outlaws Late Models Series, a premiere national touring dirt late model series, will be at Brushcreek Motorsports Complex in Peebles, Ohio on Friday May 5th, 2006. The World of Outlaws boast some of the nations best late model drivers. This group includes Billy Moyer, Steve Francis, Tim McCreadie, Rick Eckert, Chub Frank, Dale McDowell, Darrell Lanigan, Josh Richards, Clint Smith, Shane Clanton, John Blankenship and Eric Jacobsen.
The series made its first ever appearance at Brushcreek Motorsports Complex last year for the "Barry Chevrolet 50". Dale McDowell of Chickamauga, Ga. bagged the $10,000 "Barry Chevrolet 50" win. Tim McCreadie finished second, followed by 18th starting Steve Francis in third, Rick Eckert in fourth and Ricky Elliot in fifth. Rounding out the top ten finishers were Josh Richards in sixth, Chub Frank in seventh followed by Darrell Lanigan, Billy Moyer, and Mike Balzano.
When 2005 series champ Billy Moyer and the traveling professionals of the premiere national touring dirt late model series return to Brushcreek for the May 5th race they will face some fierce competition from the regional and local contingency of late model drivers. Drivers competing against the group of World of Outlaws Late Models Series drivers will not only be competing for the $10,000 top prize, but also will be chasing a $5,000 bonus. Jesus Motorsports Outreach and Southern Hills Therapy Services has posted a $5,000 bonus for any non World of Outlaws Late Model Series driver that wins the World of Outlaws Late Model Series event at Brushcreek Motorsports Complex on May 5th.
The Friday May 5th program featuring the World Of Outlaws Late Models Series will also include modifieds, chevettes, and the trophy 4 cylinders as support classes. Following the regular racing will be an enduro race. Pit gates open at 4:00 p.m. while the general admission gates will open at 5:00 p.m.
Ticket prices for the the World of Outlaws Late Model Series race at Brushcreek Motorsports will be general admission 14 & up $30.00, kids under 14 $20, kids 10 & under free with paying adult, pit admission $40.00. Advanced Tickets will be made available for purchase one month prior to the race. Reserved seat general admission ticket prices are 14 & up $25.00, kids under 14 $20, and advance pit admission $35. Brushcreek Motorsports Complex is located 3 miles south of Peebles, Ohio on OH 41. Directions: from Cincinnati take I-275 to OH-32 East. to OH-41turn right onto OH-41. From Columbus take I-270 to US-23 South to OH-32 West to OH-41 turn left onto OH-41.
